Vascular Surgeon Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Northern Connecticut

A 650 bed hospital, level 1 trauma center is seeking a vascular surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in northern Connecticut.
This position covers all aspects of vascular surgery, including open, endovascular, thoracic and abdominal aortic, carotid, limb salvage, and trauma procedures. There is a need for inpatient call coverage during the summer, with the potential for ongoing coverage. A 24/7 in-house PA team fields all consults and calls before discussing them with the covering vascular attending. Responsibilities primarily include rounding, seeing new consults, and operating on acute cases as needed.
