Job Purpose Manages programs and projects related to Welding process, design, training, inspection, fixtures and equipment that improve company performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage different projects as assigned or prioritized by VP of Engineering. Work with relevant stake holders to design, specify, and develop improvements in the scope of the project. Monitor progress of projects. Work with employees to get information needed. Individually complete research or data review as needed depending on project needs. Preform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate, and highly productive manner according to company policy. Follow company policies and procedures. Examples of the types of projects being completed would be: Evaluation (understand) of the current company state of readiness and capability regarding welding process, design, training, inspection, fixtures and equipment. Develop, propose and execute improvements in all the above categories to elevate the company performance regarding all things welding with the goal of “World Class Welding."
