Pay Range: $28.79 - $43.18 / hour
Sign-on bonus (if applicable): Up to $10,000

POSITION SUMMARY:
Creates and stores clinical diagnostic x-ray images as directed by physician or licensed practitioner utilizing radiological equipment. Documents complete and accurate equipment and quality information in compliance with department policy and regulatory agency requirement. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Current license from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible pending current graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Current CPR certification.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Ability to establish effective working relationships and clearly and calmly communicate in English both verbally and in writing with patients, medical staff and the public. Willingness to accept responsibility.
