Director of Patient Financial Services, Coder, Manager, Hospital, TX

30 Bed Community Hospital in North Texas Looking to Add a Director of Patient Financial Services to their staff

 

Position:

  • Responsible for overall functions of business office
  • Supervise business staff with 10-12 employees
  • Maintain and control supplies and equipment for hospital and clinics
  • Cashflow, AR, AP, billings and collections fall under you
  • Keep established internal controls on timely and accurate billings to third party carriers
  • Analytical skills and abilities to meet deadlines
  • Experience in EMR usage, implementation and teaching of employees
  • Help prepare Audits and Budgets
  • Report directly to the CFO

 

Experience:

  • In monitoring billings and collections within healthcare
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance preferred, not mandated
  • Prior work experience in health care business
  • Experience with training and implementing change

 

Compensation:

  • $60,000-$80,000 base salary based on experience
  • Sign on bonus and relocation bonus given
  • 5 weeks PTO

  • Texas County Retirement Plan with 7% compounded yearly

 

Location:

  • 45 minutes from community of 100,000
  • 2.5 hours to DFW and to Oklahoma City
  • Low Cost of Living
  • Local College, public and private schools available
